Select your software version below for complete email setup instructions.

To set up your Frontier email account in Outlook 2010:
1 Launch Outlook, and click File, then click Info
2 Click Add Account
3 Click the circle next to Manually configure server settings, and then click Next
4 Click the circle next to Internet Email, and then click Next
5 Perform the following steps:
  • In the User Information section, enter your name in the Your Name field, and enter your Frontier email address in the Email Address field
  • In the Server Information section, select POP3 as the Account Type, enter pop3.frontier.com for the Incoming Mail Server (POP3), and enter smtp.frontier.com for the Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP)
  • In the Logon Information section, enter your full email address in the Username field, and your password in the Password field
  • Click More Settings.
6 On the General tab, enter a name for the Mail Account, such as your Frontier email address, pop3.frontier.com or Frontier
7 Click the Outgoing Server tab, select My Outgoing Server (SMTP) requires authentication, and Use the same settings as my incoming mail server
8 Click the Advanced tab
  • For the Incoming mail server enter 995. Check the box next to This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL)
  • For the Outgoing mail server enter 465. Select SSL from the dropdown menu next to Use the following type of encrypted connection
  • Click OK
9 Make sure there is a check mark next to Test Account Settings by clicking the Next button
10 Click Next
11 Click Finish.
To set up your Frontier email account in Outlook 2013:
1 Launch Outlook, and click File, then click Info
2 Click Add Account
3 Click the circle next to Manually configure server settings, and then click Next
4 Click the circle next to POP or IMAP, and then click Next
5 Perform the following steps:
  • In the User Information section, enter your name in the Your Name field, and enter your Frontier email address in the Email Address field
  • In the Server Information section, select POP3 as the Account Type, enter pop3.frontier.com for the Incoming Mail Server (POP3), and enter smtp.frontier.com for the Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP)
  • In the Logon Information section, enter your full email address in the Username field, and your password in the Password field
  • Click More Settings.
6 On the General tab, enter a name for the Mail Account, such as your Frontier email address, pop3.frontier.com or Frontier
7 Click the Outgoing Server tab. Select My Outgoing Server (SMTP) requires authentication, and Use the same settings as my incoming mail server, then click OK
8 Click the Advanced tab
  • For the Incoming mail server enter 995. Check the box next to This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL)
  • For the Outgoing mail server enter 465. Select SSL from the dropdown menu next to Use the following type of encrypted connection
  • Click OK
9 Make sure there is a check mark next to Automatically test account settings when Next is clicked
10 Click Next
11 Click Finish.
To set up your Frontier email account in Outlook 2016:
1 Launch Outlook, and click File, and then click Info
2 Click Add Account
3 Click the Advanced options dropdown menu. Put a check next to Let me set up my account manually, and then click Connect
4 Click the POP icon
5 In the Incoming Mail section:
  • Enter pop3.frontier.com in the Server field
  • Enter 995 in the Port field
  • Place a check next to This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL/TLS)
6 In the Outgoing Mail section:
  • Enter smtp.frontier.com in the Server field
  • Enter 465 in the Port field
7 From the Encryption Method dropdown menu, select SSL
8 Click Connect
9 On the next screen enter your full email address in the Username field, and your password in the Password field
10 Click OK.
To set up your Frontier email account in Outlook 2011 for Macintosh:
1 Launch Outlook and click Outlook from the top menu bar, and then Preferences
2 Click Accounts
3 Click the plus(+) symbol at the lower left, and then E-Mail from the menu
4 Enter your full email address in the E-Mail Address field
5 Enter your password in the Password field
6 Enter your full email address in the User name field
7 Select POP from the Type dropdown menu
8 In the Incoming server field, enter pop3.frontier.com
9 In the section next to the server you just entered, type 995
10 Place a check in the box next to SSL to connect
11 In the Outgoing server field, enter smtp.frontier.com
12 In the section next to the server you just entered, type 465
13 Place a check in the box next to Use SSL to connect
14 Click Add Account
15 Click More Options…
16 From the Authentication drop down menu, select Use Incoming Server Info
17 Click OK
18 You may now close this screen using the red circle in the top left corner of the window
