Program My Remote

If you're a new Fiber TV customer, here’s everything you need to know to get your remote to work with your Set-Top Box. Use either of the methods listed below. The step-by-step instructions show you how.

Code Search method Manual method
  1. Turn on both TV and Set-Top Box.
  2. Press and hold both OK and LIVE TV buttons, then release both at same time. Red LED light blinks twice and stays on.
  3. Press and hold PLAY (Play button on your remote) while remote control tries different TV codes. Red LED light blinks.
  4. When TV turns off, release PLAY (Play button on your remote) immediately.
  5. Turn on TV by pressing TV Power (TV power button on your remote) then press VOL+ and VOL- to see if TV responds. Also test MUTE and A/V. If any button doesn't work, press and hold until it does.
  6. Press OK to save code programming. Red LED light blinks 3 times and turns off. You have successfully programmed remote control for your TV.
  1. Turn on both TV and Set-Top Box.
  2. Locate 3-digit code for your TV brand on page 2 of  TV Remote User Guide. Can't find your code? Use Code Search method instead.
  3. Press and hold both OK and 0 until red LED light on remote blinks twice and stays on.
  4. Enter 3-digit TV code. Red LED light blinks twice and stays on.
  5. Press and release CH+ button repeatedly* until TV turns off.
    *Note: Some TVs respond slower than others. Allow at least 1 second between button presses.
  6. Turn on TV by pressing TV Power (TV power button on your remote) then press VOL+ and VOL- to see if TV responds. Also test MUTE and A/V. If any button doesn't work, press and hold until it does.
  7. Press OK to save code programming. Red LED light blinks 3 times and turns off. You have successfully programmed remote control for your TV.
If you experience any problems with either method, check the following:
  • If TV Power button (TV power button on your remote) does not work, manually turn on TV and go back to Step 1.
  • If you press CH button and remote's lights flash rapidly, programming hasn't been successful. Go back to Step 1.
  • If VOL, MUTE or A/V buttons do not work, see Remote Control Troubleshooting.
  • Want to start over? Press Exit button. Red LED light will turn off.
  • Note: After 60+ seconds if no buttons are pressed, remote automatically exits programming mode.
